Partnering with Java's Compost from West Orange, we selected the proper packaging that could be commercially composted in their facility. No single use plastics here! We use 100% plant based BPI certified compostable containers from Good Start Packaging and labels from Elevate Packaging. With these products, we confidently retrieve containers & lids weekly from our customers and compost them with Java's.
We also compost our kitchen scraps, that is whatever is left after Chef Will has creatively used up as much as he can! Have you ever heard of vegetable ash? He also makes in house chicken, beef, pork and vegetable stock. Very little goes to waste at the dishKitchen!
We purchase refillable products from the Good Bottle Refill Shop, and our delivery bags are reusable and made from 100% recycled materials. This not only reduces waste, but it also keeps your food safe on your doorstep until you are able to retrieve it.
